Located on the edge of the magnificent Dartmoor National Park, with its famous free roaming Dartmoor Ponies, it’s close to lots of activities like a fun filled day of excitement at Crealy Theme Park, or meeting the animals at Paignton Zoo, or taking a relaxing trip on the steam train alongside the picturesque River Dart. Just 20 minutes from beautiful sandy beaches at Teignmouth with its grand pier or the English Riviera of Torbay, you are never far from the action.

The Cottages have been lovingly restored and finished to a very high standard to create the perfect place to make lasting memories. Pristine and gracefully furnished all the cottages enjoy charming views over the surrounding country side. All the cottages have a Log burner inside to really create the relaxing and cosy atmosphere. They also benefit from their own private enclosed gardens with barbecues and sturdy outdoor dining area to enjoy those long summer evenings together.

We at Little Dunley cottages have worked hard to minimise our impact on the environment, all the heating for the cottages and swimming pool is provided by Biomass Boiler using waste wood from a neighbouring business, we also have solar panels on the swimming pool roof providing 11.6kw of power for all our needs. We provide all our own water using a bore hole on site and a fully serviced water treatment plant.

So, come and enjoy the splendid facilities at Little Dunley Cottages including the fantastic heated indoor swimming pool with sauna, the games room designed with all the family in mind offering free games of pool, table top football, darts, table tennis and a selection of activities for the younger guests. Outside there is also our all-weather hard tennis court and carp fishing lake with-in a natural meadow.

Lovely lodge and we had a very nice holiday. The pool was lovely though the toilets and games room could have done with a once over at some point during our week but the bin wasn’t emptied from the first Monday of our stay to the last. If my children were younger I would definitely come again as the pool was great but with 12 and 14 year olds they felt a little stir crazy towards the end of the break they wanted some time away and somewhere closer to town perhaps would have suited them better. I really enjoyed the sound of silence at night and the fact there was no ambient light from a town or village. Very nice
