Beautiful cottage in a wonderful setting. Decor and furnishings very good quality and very stylish. Very clean and comfortable. One suggestion would be the possible inclusion of a downstairs toilet, but I appreciate that this might not be possible with the layout of the cottage. Lots to do in the area - recommend Bolsover Castle and the Bluejohn Cavern. Would definitely return!

The best cottage we have rented ever. Beautiful, cosy, impeccably clean. The only downside on our stay, if you can call it that, was intermittent and bad WiFi, but that could have been down to the hosts having experienced problems during the week. Very very minor and does nat affect the rating in any way. Would thoroughly recommend to anyone.

We had a very pleasant stay at Lings farm cottage. It is probably the best cottage we have stayed in, beautifully furnished, very comfortable and clean. We had great weather and the sunsets from the cottage were wonderful. Ian made us very welcome - there were new laid eggs and a bottle of wine waiting for us.

Ling Cottage is so cosy and welcoming. The owners have done everything to make visitors feel at home. We stayed over Christmas and the cottage was decorated beautifully with lights, decorations and a real Christmas tree. Rosie and Ian are very generous, and left us wine, eggs, jam, sweets and even gifts for the children! The cottage is decorated beautifully and is very well laid out. The master bedroom is particularly spacious. It's also extremely warm, being well insulated and having a wood burning stove. The cottage has a nice view over Chesterfield and is very quite. The occasional faint lowing of a cow, breaking the silence. We would highly recommend staying here.
