Spent a week at Lendal Tower to celebrate a special birthday . Very warm welcome from Nathan who showed us round .The Tower was even better than the photographs .So unique and the decor beautiful. So well equipped and the welcome pack was a lovely touch . We had expected ,being such an old building, that it might have been a little chilly but it certainly wasn’t …It was lovely and warm the whole time . We were so centrally situated that a short walk took us everywhere!! The views from the top of the Tower were breathtaking . I would say if you aren’t fit to walk up stairs this isn’t the place for you as there are a lot of stairs. We absolutely loved our stay in a truly special and wonderful place .

The tower is impressive and well furnished - a very special holiday let. This was a January weekend and while the tower was warm in the evening, it was very cold in the morning. We tried, and failed, to adjust the central heating. The tower is in the town centre on a main road. Traffic and people passing did not disturb us; in summer, this might be an issue. The welcome pack was meagre: no milk, not much tea or coffee, no nespresso pods for the machine. The towels supplied were the bare minimum. It's an expensive let and we did not feel pampered by what was provided, which was disappointing.
