Clean and homely cottage set in lovely countryside with a very friendly and helpful welcome from the owner. The beds are very comfortable for a good nights sleep with the added bonus of the farm animals providing a gentle wakeup call. Nearby Howden is an attractive little town with good places to eat out and a variety of shops. Although the cottage is at the end of a single track road it is only a relatively short journey to the main road network which is connected to a wide variety of locations. We had a very enjoyable stay seeing all the places we had planned and would highly recommend the cottage as a comfortable base for the area.

Great location for where we needed to be, but not much else around. Good for walking Would be great for families who like animals, lovely walking by the horses and sheep and relaxing listening to the cows and birds. Very peaceful Ease of arriving and leaving and owner very friendly No problems had. Would go again for a relaxing break. Had games tv and all other home comforts.
