The lodge was wonderful - almost perfect. Spotlessly clean, lots of space, full kitchen and idealic setting. Only complaint - the double bed was a little uncomfortable.

a fabulous week, Rachel and the team very helpful and friendly, nothing too much trouble for them. Fellas had 4 days great fishing, girlies had great time wandering round the shops. The lodge was spotless, very spacious, had everything we needed. The grounds were well looked after, lots of birds nesting we also had amazing weather which helped greatly. The mornings in the sunshine having breakfast on the veranda listening to the birds was amazing. The perfect place for rest & relaxation.

The cottages were lovely. Extremely good value for money but most importantly they were cosy, friendly and in a beautiful setting. Great location for a short break with friends

We really enjoyed staying in this lovely wooden cabin. The open plan living area had lots of room for the kids to run about. The kitchen was well equipped and there was plenty of storage space in the bedrooms. The exposed wooden beams and high ceiling really made the place feel really spacious. If it had been summer I'm sure we would have enjoyed sitting outside on the terrace...but it was too cold in October. It was very good value. We could of done with a brighter bulb in the lamp in the living area for reading. We did struggle a bit with the door locks too, but the site manager was very friendly and only too happy to help. I loved the fact that there was no wifi :-) The site itself was nice and well kept. When I booked it I thought it was nearer a beach, as it is not far from the coast, but actually the beaches are about 30 mins away (thus I gave a lower score for location...but I should of done my research better). We really enjoyed it and would be happy to return.
