Shower room: With walk-in shower cubicle and toilet.

Biomass underfloor central heating, electricity, bed linen, towels, Wi-Fi and logs for wood burner included. Travel cot, cot and highchair. Welcome pack.

Enclosed lawned garden with patio, garden furniture and BBQ. 1 dog welcome, to be kept on a lead at all times (working farm). Stabling and grazing for horses. Private parking for 3 cars. No smoking.

Laird House is a beautiful cottage converted from the old farm dairy on the family farm. Here you are situated in an elevated position, in a wonderful part of South West Scotland, where you can admire stunning views over Annandale. Laird House is all on the ground floor and the open plan living space is the hub of the house; spacious and beautifully furnished throughout. The wood burning stove in the corner of the room makes it a cosy and relaxing room for all the family to enjoy. Just off the open plan living space is the conservatory, where the kids can enjoy a game of table football, or you can just sit and relax, taking in the wonderful views. Laird House is set on a working beef farm, where you are more than welcome to help out feeding the calves or the ducks and collecting the eggs! This beautiful holiday home is ideally placed for you to explore the wider area. Enjoy miles of stunning, dramatic coastline, with secluded little bays and sandy beaches; historical buildings; splendid National Trust Gardens and supreme mountain biking to more challenging hill walks. A meander round the picturesque little villages or Rockcliffe and Kippford, with their breathtaking sea views, is a must. For those with the shopping bug, why not visit the County town of Dumfries or Gretna Green Outlet Village? Or for a day trip, take a 5-minute drive to the train station at Lockerbie, heading out along the west coast main line. The area really has something for everyone!

A fantastic cottage, a real home from home with amazing views. Everything you could need inside the cottage and a lovely welcome from the owner on arrival. Would highly recommend this cottage and will definitely be back again. The kids loved the horses on the farm.
