Overall the cottage was good, the settees wasn’t very comfortable, we actually went out and bought a kettle as the one there leaked putting hot water everywhere, but I would definitely stay there again it was so quiet and I think personally that with a few little adjustments this cottage would be rated excellent.

Enjoyed every minutes and kids went completely mental running around after cows and horse 😊

It had everything we needed. Having the use of the Games Room was great. The only small issue was that the Blind in the single bedroom would not close properly.

Lovely accommodation bit more attention to cleaning when first arriving and new beds and this would be perfect.

We stayed in the 7 persons apartment ... bright, spacious and with a home from home vibe, making it instantly relaxing. Idyllic and peaceful setting, with great access ( car needed) to either coastal areas, beautiful countryside walks or interesting towns. Our kids ( 17 and 10 years) loved the games room, a bit ‘ tired’ but we all had a good laugh anyway. It was refreshing to see adequate sofas provided, although two may need updating soon. Great to have a decent dining table/ chairs, a powerful shower, good kitchen equipment and a great tv provided. Standard of cleanliness was above average and the decor was imaginative. Improvements: All beds could benefit from decent mattresses ( not basic metal coil ones) bedding was below average quality and in some cases needing replacing. The single room’s balcony is rotted so the French windows ( only ventilation) are bolted for safety, allowing you to open them an inch. Not conducive to sleep on a warm night. The garden space is lovely and the surrounding land is very pretty, the points to improve upon are minor as we had an amazing time. Thank you very much xxx

A really lovely apartment with everything you need. The owners were extremely helpful but not intrusive and we loved our welcome pack. The games room was a hit with all ages. The wifi can be hit and miss but you are in the country and we did have 6 of us trying to use it at the same time, it certainly didn't ruin our break away

Beautiful walks straight from the door. Well furnished, homely. Helpful owner. Local amenities if you have a car - but you know when you book that that is the case. Lots of small tlc issues in the property, all of which have been mentioned before (some for many months) - the poor quality beds & bedding, difficult to open/close windows without worrying they were going to break & dishwasher that did not wash dishes (despite a good cleaning by us) were the issues for us. these did not detract from it being a lovely place to stay, but paying attention to these issues would make a huge difference!
