Great location. Close to many fascinating archaeological sites and lovely places to visit. The entrance hall was a bit dark and could have done with being painted a lighter colour and not left the original dark brown. The kitchen and bathroom were somewhat challenging in terms of space. Not a problem as there were only two of us but four would have been interesting. However the cottage was cosy and its shortcomings were more than made up for by the location.

Response on behalf of the Owner; Thank you very much for taking the time to review our cottage. We are pleased you enjoyed your stay and found the cottage cosy. With regard to your comment about the colour of the wood in the hallway, we are sorry that this was not to your taste however it is the original wood panelling and we regard this as a feature to the cottage. We also note that you felt the shower room and kitchen were not adequate in size for you. The kitchen is split into 3 areas, kitchen, breakfast room and pantry, which we feel is adequate for up to 6 people. Again, thank you again for your review, we welcome all feedback.
