Lovely, clean cottage but too remote for me the no wifi and no phone network didn't help the feeling of being cut off....lovely garden and the horses were lovely, enjoyed sitting in the back garden in the morning with a coffee taking in the peace an beauty, but at night it seem a tad eerie

Our family has a great stay at the cottage. We were exceptionally lucky with the weather - something that cannot be relied on in Scotland - and this made a difference as we could sit out and enjoy the sunshine when not out and about. The cottage is pretty much in the middle of nowhere, but there as shops a few miles down the road for food etc. Great location for heading out for walks or seeming ancient monuments. Peaceful, away from it all, clean & comfy. All in all highly recommended.
