Ideally situated for couples or small families looking for a complete ‘get away from it all’ location. These properties are ideal for holidays and short breaks all year round, perfect for summer holidays in delightful Devon, and with the wood burners making them cosy for winter breaks. The properties each have a small garden and shared use of a beautiful fishing lake with ducks paddling, and wooden furniture, making an ideal spot for a picnic on a sunny afternoon, and the owners keep some sheep and cattle on the land. The Teign Valley is an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty and some lovely walks can be taken here, as well as in Dartmoor National Park, which is only a short drive away. In the spring the woodlands are well-known for the fantastic display of daffodils and bluebells. Nearby you can also try horse riding, golf and fishing. Beach 15 miles. Friendly owners & all clean and tidy with basics. Furniture a bit tired so not that comfortable, log burner nice but has solid door so don't get to see the fire. Need to drive to get to anything but broad range of holiday attractions within 30mins drive - city & moor & countryside.

We loved cherry tree cottage but Due to my Disability we found that the Sofa was really low Down also found the bed was very low down but really lovely setting a bit far for amenities but we enjoyed going out everyday to Different places the owners were lovely would recommend if you don’t mind being a bit isolated or suffer from a Disability .

Furniture dated and uncomfortable. Kitchen/diner very cramped. Bathroom lighting very poor. No rails for damp towels.
