We thoroughly loved this cottage, the views from the living room window are just breathtaking. When we arrived there was a welcome pack of homemade shortbread and tablet and enough kindling/wood/ firestarters to get the wood burner going. There is a petrol station / general store about 1 mile down the which is incredibly well stocked and has pretty much everything you could need but be warned prices are much more expensive. We did a large shop in Inverness on the way up. The living room is comfortable and cozy, there is a Freeview TV and DVD player with a selection of DVDs, etc and books, and a few games to entertain kids as well as cards and dominos. The Master bedroom has an ensuite and more than enough hanging space for clothes etc, kids rooms is similar minus the ensuite. Kitchen - easily the best equipped holiday home kitchen I have seen, it has everything you could need if, nice sharp knives and sharpener, blender, Tassimo, stick blender and loads of utensils. There is a fridge freezer, microwave etc and electric cooker and hob. Basic essentials such as salt, pepper oil and some spices are there too. Bathroom - needs a little TLC as there is some mold in the seals at the bath and wash hand basin. Garden is large and totally enclosed and safe for kids and dogs. The utility room has a washing machine and tumble drier, there are also clothes drying rails. Nature - raptors can be seen frequently around the cottage - Buzzards, and I believe I saw a White-tailed eagle one day. The bay down at the caravan site is a favorite for the Sea otter and Grey seals. Take a seat and sit quietly for a short time and you will see them both.

Lovely place to stay. Views are amazing, only down side for me as a swimmer was the rocky beach. Had a great week though.
