You can enjoy a Highland safari exploring the mountains, spot local wildlife including deer and visit historic castles and gardens. For the adventurous, there are ample opportunities to walk and climb in the great outdoors, with the 7 Munros circuit within 10 miles, including Ben Lawers (Perthshire’s highest mountain) and Schiehallion. There are many mountain biking trails through the forest, and white water rafting, bungee jumping and horse riding are all available.

On entering the property on the first floor, there is a spacious open plan living area which boasts a charming wood burner, ideal for curling up with a book for a lazy afternoon on cooler days. The dining table is large enough for all to sit around and plan the next day’s activities, and the kitchen area is furnished with quality contemporary appliances. Patio doors lead to a terrace at the back of the lodge where you can enjoy breakfast al fresco in the morning sun. At the front of the lodge, another set of patio doors lead to the balcony which boasts beautiful views of the loch.
