We have stayed at some lovely bungalows over the years and can't really say we have had many complaints, but this one has to come in about one of the top we have stayed in. I don't think there was anything more you could possibly need to make this a home from home. A well stocked kitchen, lovely bathroom, large bedrooms and large living room with an extra toilet for convenience. Carol was on hand to greet you and show you round and nothing would be too much trouble if you needed help with anything. We had very good weather whilst we where here, which helps any holiday but being able to sit outside in the enclosed garden with the dog was lovely and when it got a bit too warm sitting inside watching the birds on the feeders was brilliant, anyone that loves bird watching would be in paradise, there was a great range from tits, blackbirds doves and even a woodpecker which I was lucky to be able to get some photos of, at dusk there was even the owls. If you are able bodied there are plenty of lovely walks and if you can take your bikes even better and lots of places to visit and see within an hour and a half journey by car. (lots of leaflets in the bungalow).

Amazing! Carole and Chloe were so helpful and friendly. Ivy Grange was just perfect, a real country cottage feel! Clean, lots of space, lots of little extras to use, and the patio was fantastic (especially watching the pink sunset!) We thoroughly enjoyed our stay!

A very spacious accommodation in lovely rural location. Our host Carole was absolutely fantastic - we went over the Christmas/New Year period to visit family in the area and this was the perfect base for the whole family - including our toddler who loved being able to look out the window at the horses. There is plenty of parking and a kitchen full of useful pots/pans utensils etc. Space is not a problem in any of the rooms and having an additional WC as well as the bathroom was very useful. Although there are a few areas that could do with modernising the whole property had a very homely feel and was always lovely and warm. There isn't much in terms of shops in local area - a pub and fish and chip shop (which unfortunately was closed for the holidays whilst we were there) however it isn't far to Selby or any number of neighboring villages that may have anything else you need. Further afield (i.e. 30 to 1hr 30) away are much larger towns/cities including Hull, York, Leeds. I would imagine in warmer weather (for me anyway!) the walks would be great as the scenery in the local are is fantastic. I'd like to close with a big thank you to Carole a lovely person and wonderful host - nothing was ever too much trouble. Would visit again!.
