We absolutely loved our stay in Boscastle. We didn’t know much about this area but it’s very beautiful and picturesque. Ivy cottage is very well equipped. The cottage is cozy yet spacious and a home from home. We were very lucky with the weather so the decking was very well used. I flagged a very minor issue with the owner (more to point out that the issue was there before we arrived than anything that really affected our stay) and the caretaker, Steve, came out the same day to address which was more than our expectation. It’s probably the best accommodation we have stayed in over 10 year of holiday cottages. Would highly recommend this cottage but would just mention that the hill up to the cottage is very steep and to be mindful that it may not be ideal for anyone with mobility issues or pushchairs etc. Having said that, we took mother in law (81) who had a hip replacement 4 months ago and she managed it at her own pace.

A gorgeous cottage! It has everything you need for a relaxing, fun holiday. it is also very dog friendly and our two spaniels were very happy with their basket of dog treats and toys as well as having the huge secure garden to explore. Being so close to the shops and pubs of Boscastle, and yet far enough away that you can only hear the birds and the stream from the house and garden makes it the perfect location.
