Really cosy cottage, ideally located for coast and country. Penny and Steve very welcoming and lovely scones and cream on arrival. Beautiful grounds and well worth exploring. Local wildlife from cottage window included Nuthatch and Greater Spotted Woodpecker.

Penny and Steve are delightful people, always ready to help. I loved staying in the cottage and would do so again. Although not far from my home, it felt a lot farther away. Although an old property with thick walls it remained warm, too much so that I needed to shut the heating off in some areas. The only thing I would say is that the television didn't have many programs to watch.

We all had a fantastic time in Ivy Cottage. A real home from home, the cosy, comfortable cottage had everything we needed. Set in beautiful quiet grounds with friendly owners. We couldn't have asked for anything more. Would have loved to have stayed longer, hoping to visit again in the future.
