The cottage was very cold, there was no wood for the log burner on arrival early evening, there are no curtains downstairs so no privacy and could not get parked by cottage. Only one wardrobe in the whole cottage.

    Response from:

Response on behalf of the Owner; Thank you for your comments, which we do take seriously. We apologise for the heating not being on for your arrival. Unfortunately, it had not been adjusted from British Summer Time. Logs should have been provided so apologies again for that. Your comment about no curtains is a little strange as all the downstairs windows, with the exception of the small window in the front door, have blinds, which we find work better than curtains.

A beautiful house right in the centre of Kettlewell, a good size for a large family. The bathrooms are newly finished and look great, the only thing they lack is somewhere to hang you clothes and hand towel. It was cold on arrival and the 1st nights fuel supply was missing. If you are elderly or unsteady on your feet the stairs would not be suitable.

Wonderful spacious cottage which had everything we needed. Beautiful new bathroom and shower room. Only niggle was there was nowhere to hang your towels. Garden was a little small, photos deceptive, but with the dales on doorstep didn't need it. So much space whole family had their own quiet space. Kitchen very big with everything we needed.

A lovely cottage to stay in for our holiday. Welcoming and cosy in a pretty village setting, with views of the surrounding hills.
