Perfect for couples or up to four guests, this two-bedroom holiday home has been set up with comfort and relaxation in mind. Nestled in a small terrace of just three properties in semi-rural Cynheidre, with countryside on your doorstep and plenty to see and do within easy reach. This traditional stone-built terraced property has a lodge like feel with a cosy wood burner, L-shaped sofa and TV in the living room, dining room with six-seater table and comfortable armchairs open on to the fully equipped kitchen and a separate utility room on the ground floor. Upstairs, the main bedroom has a four poster bed and TV, the second bedroom has a queen size bed, also with TV, the bathroom is spacious with a walk-in shower and heated towel rail.
The area has some of south Wales’ top attractions, Ffos Las racecourse is an equestrian sport and conferencing venue hosting over twenty races per year and is just a stone’s throw away. Heading to the coast, Pembrey Beach (Blue Flag) and Country Park make a great day out with activities as well as miles of walks to explore along the Millennium Coastal path. Nearby towns to visit include Kidwelly with its ancient castle remains to explore; sitting on the mouth of the Loughor Estuary, Burry Port is a pretty Welsh coastal town with iconic lighthouse and harbour; Llanelli is the largest market town in Carmarthenshire and provides a home to Parc Y Scarlets if you want to see a game of rugby, or a day of activities and shopping at the retail centre. There is also a beach here.
There are lots of places to eat nearby, whether you visit a local pub or head to one of the lovely towns for more options. Cynheidre is relatively central to South Wales making a great base for exploring further afield. West Wales is popular for beach days and coastal activities; head up towards the Brecon Beacons, famous for impressive mountains, waterfall walks and biking trails; or east towards Swansea and Cardiff where you can enjoy the hustle and bustle of two of the biggest cities. There are also golf courses within easy reach. Beach 8 miles.
