A small well equipped cottage with its own parking space. Everything there you need except for a freezer but there is a freezer for use of the cottage and the other campers on site. The furnishing is typical holiday cottage, part hard wearing practical with a few artefacts from the home of the families ancestors - in this case a strange Egyptian print and a table and chairs made from driftwood. That all adds to the interest and makes the place feel homely. A nice veranda to sit on and watch the doves and hens tooting about and a small lake that anglers will be happy with. The owner, Linda, is very nice and helpful. The possible downside for some, though not us, might be the campers trudging back and for to the dish wash area and the on-site pub. All in all a pleasant place to stay.

The location is perfect for touring the area and seeing the many beautiful beaches and enjoying the Stunning countryside. The cottage is situated on a busy well designed caravan and camping park, with lots of amenities on offer including a pub open at weekends and free fishing. The cottage it’s self was clean with an excellent well equipped kitchen and a spacious shower room. What let’s the cottage down is the lack of comfort for example, the lack of space in the bedroom, there is not enough room for the double bed to give clearance around the bed to enable you to move around it safely. The table and chairs although beautiful to look at are totally impractical to eat on. Also the high end tv is on top of a tall cabinet, which makes it difficult to watch in comfort. Out side the property a decked area would be great to sit out on except for the dove mess! It is a shame that these things spoilt our enjoyment of the cottage, because you can see by the quality of the furnishings and dressings in the cottage that the owners have put in a lot of work. I couldn’t recommend the cottage for anyone with any mobility difficulties or of an slightly above average frame.

We enjoyed our week in Wales. We were disappointed with a few things in the cottage. We knew it would be small but had to sidestep the end of the bed to get to the loo in the night. We found that 2 mattress protectors was over zealous and caused "night sweats" and the 13.5 tog duvet didn't help. No top sheet if we wanted to fling the duvet off. The tv was too high for neck comfort. The dining table and 2 chairs were lovely but not practical. Lack of mats and coasters. On a positive note, the kitchen and bathroom were excellent. Well equipped kitchen and the shower was superb. .
