Hollywall is a beautiful cottage in a very rural setting, quite magical! Despite having electric heating, it was warm and comfy especially with the wood burner in the sitting room. The shower was good, and there was just enough water in the hot water tank for a bath. We struggled to connect to the internet with the wifi although my brother in law was OK. However, we were happy to detox from electronic communication! The cottage was well equipped in the kitchen, with a small separate freezer and fridge and small dishwasher, although it could do with a medium sized mixing bowl and an ordinary frying pan, as the one usable one was the lidded sort, so not suitable for things like pancakes. The owners had put up some Christmas decorations and left mince pies and mulled wine, which was lovely and we really appreciated their thoughtfulness and kindness. Hollywall is our sort of place and was an excellent cottage foe dogs.

One of the nicest cottages we've ever had - and we have a lot. Combines 17th century character with 21st century comfort with neither losing out. A perfect gem which was very hard to leave.

This was the second time we stayed at Hollywall Croft and it was just as good as the first time. fairly isolated so local amenities are sparse but Leominster is only a ten minute drive and there's a pub 3 miles away that serves excellent food & drink. Excellent for a cosy romantic break.

We had a really lovely time in this picturesque cottage. The Walk up the valley has spectacular views without the sight of habitation to spoil it. Birds abound. A truly restful holiday

What a fantastic little cottage! Chocolate box style. The grounds were great, all fenced in and safe for dogs. There was plenty of wildlife to look at as the cottage is set at the edge of a beautiful field and dingle which we were able to walk. Stunning countryside. Easy to get to surrounding towns, National Trust houses etc. The inside was comfortable and tastefully decorated. Can’t wait to go back and stay again!

Hollywall Croft has all the charm of a 300+ year old cottage, but with modern amenities for one's comfort. The outlook from the garden is delightful, and the cottage is very well equipped. It is definitely on the list to revisit.
