Tucked away at the end of a winding country road, this charming shepherd’s hut is surrounded by rolling hills and stunning rural views, ideal for nature lovers and those seeking tranquillity.Inside, relax in the cosy open-plan living area with two armchairs and a plush king-size bed, as well as the wood fired stove. Beautifully furnished with comfort in mind, the hut features a granite-topped kitchenette with a two-ring hob, sink, microwave, fridge and kettle, perfect for light meals. There’s a stylish en suite shower room, and guests also have access to a spacious shower in a nearby converted barn, ideal for couples getting ready together. Laundry facilities are also available on request. On sunny days, fire up the gas barbecue and dine al fresco on the patio, or gather around the fire pit in the evenings to toast marshmallows beneath the stars, as you are in a dark sky reserve where you can experience millions of twinkling stars on a clear night. Wake up to sweeping dale views, unwind by the wood-burning stove, and fall asleep under dark, starry skies. Ideally located near the famous Coast to Coast walking trail, it’s a haven for hikers. You’re also emersed in the dramatic North York Moors and the charming coastal villages of Whitby, Runswick bay, Robin Hood’s Bay, and Staithes, each offering breathtaking scenery, quaint shops, and a rich sense of history.
