A lovely part of the world with the hills and levels on the doorstep. The cottage was very cosy and lovely, dog friendly, host very welcoming, gorgeous (and ferocious) wood burner, the bed was a little soft for my liking but I'm a bit of a futon hard mattress girl. Be careful reversing into the parking space - there are steps down to the cottage from the space. When we got out to see how well we had parked we discovered we were only inches from the step and marvelled at how we almost ran aground and thankful we didn't :) The road up the hill has beautiful views and a lovely walk up to the right. Make sure you are well lit if walking the dog up there at night. We also enjoyed the local pub and cider barn, both within walking distance.

Very pretty cottage, felt chilly as stone walls as expected but lovely wood burner to take the chill off. The parking is a little awkward but as it was the weekend we were able to park in the school car park as it was easier especially in the dark.

Hollies Cottage is a charming holiday home, however it is too small for three people. It is better suited for two people. Additionally the main bed is way too soft and thus very uncomfortable. The location is very handy for places like Cheddar, Wells, and Glastonbury.

The cottage had charm but the furnishings were shabby and the bed in particular was uncomfortable.

Response on behalf of the Owner; Thank you for your feedback. I am pleased to say that the armchair in the sitting room and the bed has now been replaced. We're glad that you found the cottage to have charm and hope you'll visit again.
