Well what can I say what a fab little place. Small and cosy with everything that you will ever need in the cottage. Initial fire logs, fire lights etc were provided and it gave off some heat. Bathroom was lovely shower got nice and hot, bed was comfy. We had a welcome pack left which was a complete surprise and was very much enjoyed. There was treats, dog bowls and cover for the sofa which was a lovely little touch. Great quiet location in a lovely little village. Neighbour was lovely and friendly. Would highly recommend and would return again in a heart beat. It was a fab location lovely walks nearby and was close to places we wanted visit such as whitby, york, scarborough. It was a fab. Cant fault it at all.

Lovely weekend away. Village is really pleasant with easy good walks. Cottage very comfortable and well equipped, it is smaller than pics online looked good use of nooks for storage. A summer visit is probably more ideal as you can use garden space too. Supremely comfy bed & hot powerful shower!

We enjoyed a most relaxing and cosy stay enjoyed at Hill View. Locals very friendly especially the neighbours. The cottage is warm and snug and spotless. The welcome pack was very welcome and tasty, the dogs loved the treats. We have stayed in this area many times and Hill View is amongst the best. If it is peace and quiet you are looking for with great access to local walks the I would certainly recommend this cottage. Thanks to all for the hard work that it takes to provide the level of comfort the Hill View Cottage provides.

Beautiful cottage in a quiet village. Local pub is very cosy. No other amenities in the village but there is a Spar shop nearby which has everything you could need. Jacuzzi spa bath is very relaxing. Log burner was great as we visited in December.
