There are nearby market towns at Alford, the Georgian town of Louth, which still has 3 markets a week, and also Horncastle which is well known for its antique and collectables shops. A day out in Lincoln to the east is around a 40-minute drive with its cathedral, castle and Magna Carta Visitor Centre, as well as many excellent cafés and restaurants for refreshment in The Bailgate area, and also the area surrounding the wharf. In the evening, enjoy a stroll down the lane or along the bridleway and footpath to the village pub which serves good food and real ale. Beach 12 miles. Shop 2¾ miles, pub and restaurant 1¾ miles.

A lovely, nicely appointed cottage, within reach of so many places of interest. Gunby Hall is really good as is Gibraltar Point. Snipe Dales is a little treasure. We hadn't visited this area before and the Wolds are really beautiful.
