Nice location particularly for Walkers or if you have a dog. Very clean and warm. Bed Mattress not firm enough and dislike polyester sheets/duvet. All else very good.

    Response from:

Response on behalf of the owner; Thank you for your comments. I’m sorry the new sheets aren’t to your liking. The mattress is new this year, guests usually prefer a softer mattress compared to a hard one.

Quiet haven away from the hustle and bustle of life. Stunning views in idyllic countryside, glimpses of the sea in Mawgen Porth. Didn't have children with us , but what a great place for them to blow off excess steam. Property very well equipped, good sized patio , spotless throughout Easy access off the A39 meant that all of Cornwall is reachable within1-1/2 hours.

Enjoyed a lovely week at Porth View, ideal for the places we wanted to visit and also found new places. Would have put 10's on overall rating and comfort and equipment if we had a power shower in the bathroom, the hot water was amazing though just not enough power. Lovely welcome from the owners, tea and cake most welcome after our journey.

We had a lovely welcome-the fruit cake was much appreciated!! The cottage was beautiful, spotless, well maintained with a fully stocked kitchen. Views were awesome. Not much around the cottage directly in relation to amenities but quite a central location if you are happy to travel 10-20 mins for attractions. We had a great break. Not much signal or WiFi so plan day trips ahead of journey - we planned our next day at the pub!!! Would highly recommend :)

Lovely little place with very friendly owners. We stayed during the snow and were snug and warm. We loved watching the sheep and their lambs too. It's fairly isolated but that's what we wanted and the lack of internet was overcome with 3/4G. Would definitely stay again.
