Horse riding is available locally at the neighbouring property, charges do apply.
There are many seaside resorts to visit: Lyme Regis, Charmouth, West Bay, Weymouth, Beer, Branscombe, Sidmouth, Exmouth and many more attractions including Crealy Adventure Park, GoApe Forest Adventure, Pecorama, Beer Quarry Caves, Seaton Tramway or maybe a jaunt to the 12th century city of Exeter. Golf nearby. Many local on-site footpaths and country walks to explore. Really nice location and excellently kitted out. Rob, the owner, was most welcoming and friendly. Would go back if revisiting the area

Very comfortable stay. Nice touch of cream tea provided on arrival. Quiet rural location but close to amenities. We were attending a wedding at River Cottage so location ideal as only a 10 minute drive away. Our toddler grandson really enjoyed the playground and outside toys. Host very helpful. Would recommend a stay here.

A superb cottage on a former farm, adjacent fields are used for sheep and horses but no normal working farm traffic or associated problems. The facilities are excellent with a large kitchen, complete with dish washer, cooker, freezers, microwave and a full size kitchen table seating 6 people. The very minor downsides are down to personal taste as apposed to being defects and are a rather low and soft lounge suite ( I have back problems and prefer a more upright firm support),, and the fact that it is deep in the countryside on narrow roads with indifferent signage often covered by foliage. A small price to pay for an otherwise perfect setting and cottage. Our host was most accommodating and helpful. Thanks for a perfect holiday. Book with confidence
