Our host was friendly and kept in touch with us when necessary. The cottage at Fell View has breathtaking views, gives a perfect, dark and peaceful night’s sleep. The kitchen has a fridge/freezer, hob and oven, there’s a microwave too and more than ample cutlery and crockery, TV and Wi-Fi, comfortable lounge suite and table and chairs. There’s a small balcony should you wish to enjoy the views - a place free from the hustle and bustle of every day life.Highly recommended for those who want to escape the noise of city life, yet close enough to shops. I suggest you bring some supplies such as milk, bread and cereals for your first day. Nearest shops are in Staveley. The lakes and awesome gardens are within driving distance.

Lovely large cottage with fantastic views and good parking, fridge freezer, induction hob , good double and two singles with plenty of storage, be prepared and take your shopping with you it’s not got a shop nearby but plenty of fridge and freezer space. Good space for two couples which makes it a very good value break

Overall the cottage & it's outlook can't be faulted. It was clean, well equipped & the views were wonderful. It's position is good to get to both the north & south lakes. The only downside is that there is no mention of the single track windy road which takes between 15 - 20 minutes from Staveley which can be a little bit tricky when you meet traffic coming the other way, especially if it's on the large side (not for the faint hearted!). We thoroughly enjoyed our holiday
