We had a great weeks stay at Hexham Cottage. It was spotlessly clean and all the rooms were very comfortable. Kitchen was very well equiped and had everything you needed for preparing meals. Lovely wood burning stove in the living room which we used a few nights. The garage at the end of the road sold kindling and logs. The cottage is just a 2 minute walk to the harbour and the Seahouses High Street and a 5 minute walk to the beach. No issue with parking the car right outside the cottage. Having the use of the public parking permit was a great . We used this in a number of car parks including on Lindesfarne. The only thing I could say is there is no heating in the kitchen so it could be a bit cold. The floor, although it looks lovley, is very cold so if going in the winter months, take slippers or thick socks!

We stopped over Christmas and found a lovely clean cottage with everything you could possibly need. It was a real home from home. There was also no animal smells and the cottage was spotless. The beds were also really comfortable. The parking was a bit tight but we never struggled to get parked outside. Would definitely recommend if you want a lovely relaxing break in Seahouses.

The cottage was well decorated inside, with lots of facilities. The main isssue was parking which was horrendous-plus the parking disc we had been left if we wanted to park elsewhere had expired. In addition there was a bad smell in the kitchen.

This cottage is in a brilliant location, the harbour, beach, shops etc are on the door step. Unfortunately little things let the place down, it has no garden, one entrance only, no washing line or any whee to dry clothes, a clothes rail is provided but no radiators to place it near. The beds were very comfortable and overall I did enjoy it just could do with little touches
