Lovely cottage in ideal location. Very dog friendly our Cavaliers Bertie & Suki loved the garden & the walks in the surrounding fields. We loved the views from the conservatory so relaxing. The hosts were very friendly & helpful we knew they were there if we needed them. Lots of places to visit in the area. Would like to stay there again highly recommend this cottage.

My mother and I had a lovely few days. Ideally sited on the Welsh border and a visit into Shropshire. Also visited Croft Castle not that far away. Our landlady Majorie was very welcoming and had provided tea and cakes for our arrival. Would happily stay at Mavis cottage again.

We went for the view but the photograph on the website is not the view from this cottage. An immaculate cottage and must be kept so. Lots of notices around the house to help you to achieve this. The owner has a good view of this cottage from her home.

Cosy and well equipped cottage with stunning views made even more special by Marjorie and Tom who have looked after us so well. If we hadn’t found a home nearby we would definitely be returning

We had a fab 5 days at the cottage, really relaxing and the view across the fields was perfect. It was the little touches on arrival that made it special with the high tea and fresh flowers, great, would highly recommend.

We found some lovely little welcome touches when we arrived...The log burner was lit, there was tea laid on the table including a selection of cakes n biscuits, our dog was made welcome with a special mat, everything we could want for a weekend was available in the very comfortable cottage.
