Excellent, from the communication with Diane prior to our visit to the wonderful cottage and it’s amenities. Everything about the property was spot on and a great base to explore North Wales. Would recommend.

The cottage was absolutely lovely with beautiful surroundings. Fantastic walks and local people are very friendly. Local pub was reasonably priced serving lovely food. Cannot Fault it, I would definitely recommend it to everyone and come back again!

This was the second year we stayed at the barn, I never go to the same place twice. It was amazing, beautiful views, lots of walks close by, very comfortable. As a family we will be booking to go again

Hendre Barn Mawr is a stunning barn. Extremely well equipped, warm and homely. We were inpressed by the games, dvds and books at our disposal and the kitchen had every possoble utensil that could ever be needed!! It is ideally located for local walks and trips further afield. We had a lovely meal in the local pub and an equally lovely lunch in the local cafe. My only slight criticism of the barn was that although it said 'enclosed garden' it is not completely secure and therefore a close eye needs to be kept on any dogs. One of our dogs is small and could easily have slipped through the bottom of the gate onto the road if we hadn't been watching. Also to the right of the barn there is a low wall with bushes over and one of our dogs managed to jump the wall and through a gap in the bush into next doors garden.

We had a super time here - the barn was very well equipped and very comfortable. We were a party of 4 adults, 2 teenagers and 2 dogs and everyone enjoyed their stay. If you want perfect peace this is the place for you. The weather was perfect and it only rained on one day of our stay. The guys even managed to climb Snowdon with amazing views and pictures.

We really enjoyed our stay at the barn. The local walks were challenging. My 3 grandchildren left a comment in the visitor book saying that the beds were comfy and the outside space was good for playing games.

Great house for two families of four. Well equipped kitchen although the dishwasher was a bit on the small side. Huge choice of DVDs. Good outside space and some lovely walks and views from the door. Not much in the way of amenities in the village but we were more interested in exploring the countryside so it suited us very well.
