Beautiful cottage in an idyllic setting, a lot of attention to detail by owners. Sheep around, but fenced away from cottage together with a dog guard to place on decking to allow a superb place to sit out and enjoy the landscape. We saw a Red Grouse, traversing the field next to us, and either one hare four times, or four hares once, or combination thereof!

A fantastic stay in a well equipped, spotless and comfortable cottage. Secluded and peaceful but with amenities close by, Heathfield is the perfect choice to recharge your batteries. Fantastic walks from the door and who needs a tv when you have the antics of the sheep to watch. Owners are on hand in needed and very helpful. Currently looking at dates to return.
