We had a lovely family holiday with our three young children and parents at Heather Lea. The rooms were beautiful and the feel was very cosy but luxurious. Loads to do in the local area with young ones. We went to Fountains Abbey, Lightwater Valley, Brimham Rocks, Ripley and Harrogate (especially Valley Gardens for playground and mini golf), swimming in Knaresborough and boating on the river under the viaduct. All nearby. Really enjoyed our first trip to Yorkshire!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Heather Lea. The property was well equipped, very comfortable and clean and had the added interest of Make It Wild. It was also well located to visit many interesting places in this beautiful area.

A lovely house in a beautiful setting. An extremely well equipped kitchen and everything was beautifully furnished. The eco-focus of the house was a bonus. We loved the bluebell woods and having dedicated one of the new trees it was good to be able to see it in person. A great spot for a family gathering. We would recommend it.
