Heather Cottage is a characterful property in a stunning, rural location surrounded by farm fields and with access to a private lake. The beautiful country views make for a relaxing break, while the walled garden is perfect for those wanting to bring a dog. Guests step into the kitchen with an adjoining utility room, perfect for leaving coats and wellies after a long country walk. The kitchen is well-stocked for a self-catering stay, with all the equipment and amenities to cook up a feast. It also features a dishwasher and a washing machine/tumble dryer.
The large dining room (seats six) and living room are downstairs, along with a shower room and WC. The living room has a large log burner, ideal for cosy autumn and winter evenings.
The cottage sleeps four people in two bedrooms, both found upstairs. Please note that the staircase is rather steep and may not be suitable for anyone with restricted mobility. The master bedroom has a king-size bed, while the second bedroom is a twin with the beds nestled in the eaves. The family bathroom is also upstairs. All rooms enjoy countryside views from the windows.
Outside, the lawned garden is enclosed and there is a patio area with table, chairs, and a gas BBQ. Heather Cottage also benefits from its own private lake, just a short walk from the cottage along a grassy lane (not in immediate proximity to worry around small children, though supervision is recommended).
Private, off-road parking is available in front of the cottage.
