This was our second visit to "Hastings" so we obviously loved it first time! Lovely house and fabulous location. Only 10 minutes to the town and five to Fitz Park if you have a wee dog to walk! We appreciated the new layout in the kitchen, heating and hot water and the lovely new gates. What would improve this house? A nest of tables in the lounge would make a difference when there are four of you. A full length mirror in main bedroom wouldn't go amiss. However, negative points were: One toilet roll in each bathroom to last a week! Only ONE cloth left in the kitchen to clean surfaces in kitchen and two bathrooms? Unbelievable! Last year, there were plenty of toilet rolls and spare cleaning cloths in the cupboard. When keeping surfaces clean is SO important, thought this was very poor. Having said this, we would go back to "Hastings' if we visit Keswick again. It really is a lovely holiday home. Just hope owner takes these points on board!
