Clean, modernised, comfortable, adequately equipped for two people. Everything in good working order. Friendly host. This is on an isolated farm, with animals for children to meet. In a very beautiful area of the country, with viewpoints just up the road. There are no facilities within easy walking distance, but Leek is a short drive away for good shopping. A good base for visiting the Roaches, Biddulph Grange, The Manifold Trail etc.

Myself and my girlfriend stayed at Harvey Gate for a short weekend break away from the south. We were greeted by the host who was very polite and informative about the property and informed us he would be on hand should we need anything. Overall we left very happy with the property listed as it is in a remote location away from any city life feels, it was everything listed on the advert and more so we would highly recommend if you want to get away! The hosts do live next door as it is their farm however we were left to our own privacy throughout. The barbecue was a really nice touch in the garden with a decking area and all utensils available. The only thing worth noting is the television does not have any streaming capabilities nor does the wifi permit video streams on devices but if you want to really fit the mood of staying on a farm who needs technology! Would definitely book again.

Simple, rustic accommodation sitting in the dramatic Staffordshire Moorlands. Well located for walking cycling and enjoying the great outdoors. Leek (4miles) for the shops and more, definitely one for outdoor types.
