A roomy house with lots of character but in need of a bit of tlc. Lovely views from the windows but unfortunately obscured as the double glazed units are misted and need replacing. The house is comfortable and mainly well equipped. Could do with a curtain and bath mats in the bathroom and the shower room. Ceiling paper hanging down in the lounge. Overall we had a pleasant stay in Hartrees House. The surrounding area is beautiful and a great place for exploring. We found shops and a takeaway in Haverigg which is closer than Millom. The village of Ravenglass is excellent for a day out. Plenty of walks around the local area and beyond.
