On arrival at the cottage we were greeted with a christmas tree, milk, tea coffee etc a bottle of wine and box of biscuits which was lovely. The cottage itself was lovely a spacious, clean and had everything we needed. With the added bonus of a log burner for cosy nights and also the use of a shared hot tub which we didn't have enough time to make us of. The area is stunning with so many walks. We thoroughly enjoyed our time and would highly recommend and definitely would return

The cottage and location were lovely. The only negative is that the cottage didn't have the basics - cooking oil, salt, pepper, washing up liquid and sponge etc.

Lovely spacious cottage with great amenities and especially the shared hot tub. Friendly hosts. My only small gripe is the sofas weren’t very comfortable and gave both myself and Hubbie back ache. Super comfy beds though.

We had a lovely stay here it was very clean and had a very warm welcome. The hot tub was a big plus and was lovely to relax in at the end of the day. The nearest village is quite small and whilst there the chippy was shut and one of the pubs shut early so we did have to travel a bit further for some variety of food. Apart from local village which is a 5 min drove I wouldn’t recommend walking down the road as no footpath and fast traffic. We loved the property and did enjoy the peace and quiet but was a little too rural for us. But would highly recommend here as a place to stay for visiting different places and if u like rambling it’s wonderful 👍
