Harbour Lodge is idyllically situated only 100 yards from the harbour of Amble,’known locally as ’the friendliest port’. Nestled at the end of a stone built terrace, Harbour Lodge and its neighbouring property were added in recent years. Harbour Lodge provides contemporary and stylishly furnished holiday accommodation spread over three floors.
The spacious entrance hall leads to a very well equipped kitchen/dining room on the ground floor boasting quality cherry wood units with many integral appliances. A separate utility area with washer/dryer also offers useful space for coats and outdoor equipment. On the first floor there is a bright and spacious living room with sumptuous seating to snuggle in front of the large TV and where doors lead onto an enclosed balcony area to take in the sea air and enjoy the views. A twin bedroom and luxurious spa bathroom are also positioned on this level. Two further bedrooms; one a spacious family room with views towards the sea and harbour and the other, another immaculately presented twin bedroom adjacent to a fresh shower room are on the top floor.

Lovely cottage, deceptively spacious, in a good location for the local amenities, convenient on road parking , good enclosed garden for dogs, proprietor very helpful when problems occurred. the only negatives which should be addressed are - the wi-fi was not very efficient and the cooker hob could be updated. Overall we had an enjoyable stay and would be happy to book the same cottage again if we were to revisit Amble.

Absolutely loved staying here - plenty of room for all our family and 2 dogs - brilliant amenities and location - we will definitely be returning 
