A lovely cottage in the Devon countryside, right on the edge of Dartmoor. Cosy, well equipped and tastefully furnished, and the bed was very comfortable. The Welcome pack was much appreciated. Ideally situated to explore all of Devon. Lots of great restaurants locally, we particularly liked the fish and chip shop in the local village, The Tom Cobley in Spreyton for Sunday lunch, and The Globe Inn in Chagford. Highly recommended, and we look forward to our next visit!

We had a very short holiday at Happy cottage as my Wife was taken ill .Derek and Pippa were fantastic looking after our dog while my wife was taken to hospital, even calling in a neighbour who was a Paramedic. Derek even took our dog for a walk at 11 at night as we were not back from hospital till the next day. The cottage was very cosy and we hope we can go back again soon and have a more relaxing stay. Once again thank you Derek and Pippa for all your help.

Absolutely lovely cottage. Extremely well equiped and very clean. Lovely welcome pack of scones, cream, jam, bread, butter, milk, plus doggy treats, for which we were all very grateful. Pippa went out of her way to welcome us and our dogs and nothing seemed too much for her. The bed was very comfortable and the wool duvet and pillows were a treat, as was the lovely crisp cotton bedding. There is a lovely fenced off area at the back, which was safe for our dogs but they weren't too keen on walking the gravel. The cottage is set in a very rural area with fields all around.....with lots of sheep in, which unfortunately didn't suit our dogs as they just wanted to bark at the sheep. They are used to cows in the fields near our home and we weren't sure what they would be like around sheep, but this didn't spoil our stay as we used the cottage as a base and drove to the coast each day. Thank you so much to Pippa for a lovely stay.

A truly faultless and homely cottage in the beautiful Devon countryside. Comfort and cleanliness plus friendly owners. A must for those looking for a pleasurable stay.

An amazing little cottage, so cosy and well equipped. The owners have thought of all the little things that make a stay extra special, even down to a welcome basket with scones, clotted cream and jam. Would definetly recommend and hope to return soon
