A good house for a group or large family. Minor tweaks to the upkeep and it would be excellent.

A really well equipped house and ideal for our family group aged from 7 weeks -80years old. Lots to see and do in the area for all ages. We have stayed in Pickering lots of times but this was definitely our best holiday, helped by the beautiful weather.

Excellent location, within easy reach of the coast and York. Also close by is Flamingo Land and Go Ape for the children. A couple of minutes walk to the town centre where there are all facilities required, although for a larger supermarket we went to Malton (around 6 miles). The house was very well equipped with a lovely dining area (in the conservatory) and 2 sitting rooms. Very good weather while we were there but unfortunately the Aga cooker made it extremely hot in the kitchen and, as there was no other cooker, we had to leave it on all the time. Parking is right in front of the house and usually there was space available. I would definitely recommend this property.
