Nestled within the quiet village of Gimingham, but under 2 miles from the coast, Hall Farm Barns have been thoughtfully furnished and equipped to ensure guests have everything they need for a great stay. Light and airy throughout, these semi-detached barns can be booked individually or as a group for those wishing to accommodate large numbers while still retaining some privacy. The largest of the barns, The Great South Barn (UKC2527), sleeps twelve and benefits from four bathrooms, three of which are en-suite. Just as impressive, The Great North Barn (ref UKC2526), sleeps ten and has a glass ceiling area that is just perfect for gazing at blue skies and stars alike. The smaller, but perfectly formed Courtyard Barn (ref UKC2525), sleeps six and offers integrated ceiling speakers and retains an air of spaciousness, making it a great place in which to relax and unwind.

Close by lies the seaside village of Mundesley which offers a lovely sandy beach, a firm favourite with the locals but something of an undiscovered gem compared to its larger neighbour Cromer. Do make time to visit Cromer though, as here you will find a celebrated Edwardian seafront, a long promenade to stroll along and a famous pier, which often offers end of pier shows. Both seaside resorts also offer lots of places where you can eat and drink, and Cromer also has a cinema and Amazonia Zoo.

Close by also lies the gateway to the Norfolk Broads, Wroxham, which offers lots of attractions, including the opportunity to hire a day boat or join a charter as it glides through these famous waterways. There is so much to do in the area that whichever barn you choose, you will book to come again, just to fit everything in. Beach 2 miles. Shop, pub and restaurant 1 mile.
These properties can be booked together to accommodate up to 28 guests.

An excellent property set in the rolling fields of Norfolk. We were a party of 12 and enjoyed the spacious accomodation especially the kitchen/diner/living area which allowed us to socialise together.

We have just returned from a fabulous New Year Break with friends at the Great South & Courtyard Barn. As a group of 18 we needed to rent two of the three property’s on offer which was great, as so hard to get accommodation for large parties. We were greeted on arrival by the owner Lorna which was a lovely touch & she took us around the two properties. The barns were extremely clean, with lovely bedding & towels and fitted to a great specification with underfloor heating downstairs. The accommodation offered a good mix of rooms, with the very large kitchen & diner as the central hub. For a large property it does have quite a small lounge area in comparison to other property’s we have rented, however the children took this area over & the adults spent most our time around the large dining/table. In some respects this worked well as those working in the kitchen weren’t isolated off from socialising too. Lorna gave us a great recommendation for a local pub the Vernon Arms for a NYE lunch. Her husband kindly helped us on rubbish day to get all our bins out correctly. I would highly recommend this property & wish the friendly helpful owners all the best.

We stayed over Christmas and had a wonderful time. The accommodation was immaculate and well laid out. The kitchen was well stocked with all the essentials, with plenty of cupboard and fridge space. It was useful that some rooms were downstairs as we had dogs and grandparents staying with us. Lovely local walks and pubs, and a short drive to Cromer and a local beach. As we were staying with dogs, the only comments I would make, is that the garden is shared with the attached barn, which we were aware of, so it wasn't a problem for us. And there is no boot/utility room, just a small boiler room. Neither of these were a problem for us, and the owner was very accommodating with our dogs. I would highly recommend a stay here!

Very good accommodation with lots of room and a kitchen well stocked with utensils and crockery. The owners were very friendly, nothing was too much trouble and the welcome package was a nice touch. A good location for walks from the barn or a short drive to the coast. As commented on by others storage space is needed in some of the bedrooms. Overall a brilliant weekend that was very much enjoyed by all.

Clearly hadn't properly checked the property details before hand, because on arriving at South Barn discovered it was attached to the North Barn! Envy then crept in, because the North Barn had a large open plan expanse of glass at the front, emitting lots of natural light as one might expect from a barn conversion. This provided bright open space directly benefiting the combined lounge/dining room and kitchen. The South Barn's front facing lounge area was very restricted in size by comparison, with the very spacious open plan kitchen/dining room behind it suffering from a real lack of natural light as it only had the benefit of one relatively small window at the rear. The barn provided a very good choice of well fitted and mostly spacious bedrooms, with one small gripe which concerned lack of storage (cupboards/wardrobes) in some rooms. Only other small gripe concerned the restricted parking at the front where you accessed the property (although there was further parking at the rear) which only allowed for three cars. Likewise the adjoining property (which shared the space) only permitting parking for three cars. All our party very much enjoyed there stay, and the splendid facilities offered by the South Barn, however if we were considering staying again, we would reduce our number to ten and book the adjoining North Barn instead.
