Boasting a wonderful, bright and open plan contemporary living area, which is comfortably furnished, the property nestles beside the owner’s home, yet still retains full privacy.
Explore the countryside and water with bikes, paddle boards and canoes or these can be rented locally in advance. Wroxham, the capital of the Norfolk Broads National Park, is an 8 minutes’ drive away with its waterside cafés, restaurants, shops, and daily river trips available. It also has a model village, Wroxham craft barns, a main line railway station with connecting links to city and coast, and is home to the Bure Valley Gauge Steam Railway from where you can enjoy trips to Aylsham. There are glorious sandy beaches of Sea Palling and Waxham, and the surrounding area offers plenty of opportunities to refuel with many pubs (from traditional inns to award-winning fine dining). The bustling market town of North Walsham is 7 miles and smaller market town of Stalham is 3 miles for supermarkets, eateries, and shops. Nearby attractions include many National Trust properties such as Blickling and Felbrigg Halls and Horsey Windpump.
The traditional seaside resort of Cromer is 16 miles with a promenade and pier, and Sheringham is 21 miles, home to the North Norfolk Steam Railway. The city of Norwich is 12 miles, with its cathedral, castle, museums, galleries, restaurants, cinema, theatre, and shopping with two malls and market square is within easy driving distance. For another great day out, visit Horsey Gap (National Trust) where you can walk on the sand dunes and see the seals and pups on the beach (November to February). Beach 7 miles.
