This was a very good setting for a reunion of friends. It had plenty of space with its two lounges and well-equipped kitchen (although a cafetiere or two would have been appreciated). There are storage heaters with log fires in the lounges. The décor etc was not as modern or matching as some of the group would have liked but others were fine with it. Although the kitchen and bathrooms were very clean, the nature of the rest of the accommodation meant that it did not have the same sense of cleanliness. There was plenty to do in the area and we benefited from great weather for February.

Lovely 6 nights spent with family over christmas. Two large living rooms with log burning stoves made it a snug and warm christmas for all. Lots to do and see in the area for all the family. A great christmas!

The furnishing were quite tired, the tv in one of the sitting rooms did not work and one of the toilets didn't flush properly, and the bedrooms definitely needed some new mattresses. However, it was quite well located for Shrewsbury and Bridgnorth and although it was dated and the sitting rooms were rather cluttered it was comfortable enough and warm enough. If you have a large group family it is ideal as it was not that modern that you daren't breathe in it and the outside area was safe for children to play.

We used this barn for a family get together, and it was great. Wonderful location, and plenty of room to spread out inside. Wouldn't hesitate to return both to this cottage, and this very attractive area.
