What a truly beautiful place. The house itself has absolutely everything you need to stay. Comfortable beds and housed 11 adults and 2 kids perfectly it was wonderful to have space in the living room, kitchen and garden for us all. 15 minute drive for takeaways and supermarket so that was handy. The farmer let the kids have feed for the sheep. I honestly have nothing bad to say about the place. We can't to come back.

Our party of 12 had a lovely weekend break at Groes Faen Bach and we would definitely book again. The house accommodated us with ease and is well appointed with bedrooms and bathrooms. Everyone commented on how comfortable the beds were. The kitchen dining area is stunning, overlooking the fields of the surrounding working farm. We enjoyed group meals and playing games around the huge dining table. The kitchen is well equipped and has everything you need with the exception of bin bags and a salt/pepper grinder. We were greeted on arrival by the owner and initial problems with the WIFI were dealt with in a timely way. We visited Coed Llangwyfan, less than 20 minute drive from house, and enjoyed 2 beautiful circular walks in the winter sunshine. We also visited the wonderful Clwyd Theatre in Mold to watch a screening of the pantomine which had sadly been cancelled due to Covid. Our initial reason for booking the weekend. Suggestions to make this property a 10/10 would be provision of a house book to help with orientation and general information on the workings of the house and equipment. We didn't find the instructions for the microwave until the day we left! In particular, information on how to control the heating and hot water as this was not clear and we would suggest adjustments to the timers so heating not on at night and hot water available both in the morning and evening. Thanks for having us.
