Quite location. Some parts of property not cleaned properly. Oven and grill elements smoking heavily setting off smoke alarm. Large crack in living room ceiling. Multiple cobwebs on ceiling. Spoke with lady owner who said she was going to address these problems. Lower part of opening kitchen window badly burnt. It could be 100 per cent but needs love and attention asap.

    Response from:

Response on behalf of the owner; Thanks for your comment and we are sorry you found some issues with your stay. We have incredibly high standards when it comes to cleanliness so its upsetting to hear that you took issue and only highlighted this after your stay with us. If there were areas not to your satisfaction then this would have been dealt with immediately. On the point you raise of the ceiling crack, due to the very cold winter and the age of the converted buildings here at Granary Farm, we do find that from time to time this kind of incident can happen and it is only once the weather warms again that we can tend to it. This particular situation has now been fully resolved. A final note on the issue of a badly burnt kitchen window we can assure you with upmost certainty that there has never been a fire in not only Corn Stook, but any of our cottages and on further inspection of the kitchen window we cannot seem to find the marks of which you noted. We always do our very best to give our guests a warm and welcome stay and always make clear that we are on hand to clear up any issues immediately. Our apologies again.
