We had a great time and thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The cottage was superb and we appreciated our welcome pack of cake and wine (milk, tea and coffee too). we scored comfort and convenience down a point only because cushions in living room a little worn (feel mean doing that but had to find some little thing to criticise!). Whole heartedly recommend Glebe Cottage.

Quiet location. Close to main roads for getting around Norfolk and short drive to Great Yarmouth. Cottage was clean, comfortable and had everything for a self catering holiday.

We loved staying here as was in a very quiet area, all you heard were birds!! The shared garden is lovely to walk round and we enjoyed watching all the wildlife coming in and out especially the owners chickens!! Everything you could think of was in the cottage plus a welcome pack which included homemade cake!!! It is a bit better to have a car but we didn't but enjoyed the 15 to 20 minutes walk into Caister where there are Bus Stops into Great Yarmouth or Hemsby or all the way to Lowestoft!! Plenty of shops, great pubs, cafes and the local bakery is a must as you watch them making bread, go early though as very popular as is fish and chip shop!! A further 5 mins walk and on beach!!!!!

This was our second stay at Glebe Cottage and again we were not disappointed. Ideally situated for interesting days out but nice and comfortable to return to for the evening. The owners nearby were very friendly and helpful.

We really enjoyed our week at Glebe Cottage. It's an excellent base for visiting the Broads, and this part of Norfolk. The hosts are very welcoming and helpful and we'ed be delighted to have another holiday here in the future.

The owners couldn't do any more than they have done, they were very welcoming and left a bottle of wine and a delicious cake, the cottage had everything that was needed. My husband and I would go back to do some of the walks we couldn't do this time as we had our daughter with us who can't walk too far she has a learning disability and also has seizures. that's why we only gave 8 for location, and local amenities. Overall a lovely cottage if you want peace and quiet then it's well worth the visit.
