Lovely quiet location. Welcoming owners. The dogs loved the garden and the woods. We also went down to the shore side everyday which was a short walk from the house and over the road, could also see the water a bit from the kitchen window which was lovely. Had some lovely free eggs and other bits in the welcome pack - a nice touch. There was an electric meter which we had to take some extra money for but we didn’t use much with it being such lovely weather. The shower and bath were both lovely. Kitchen had everything you needed. Comfy sofa and chairs. Nice walks near by, Luss beach wasn’t far and was lovely. Glen fruin road had a lovely view at the top too! Would certainly stay again in future. Thank you to the hosts for having us, we had a lovely stay.

A lovely well equipped and comfortable cottage. An amazing welcome with lots of goodies for our added enjoyment. The only downside was for our more elderly visitors was the bed which was very low and difficult to get out of but this was described in the information pack.

We had a lovely time at Gareside Lodge. We were welcomed with a bottle of wine and the smell of bread baking in the bread maker. It was very cosy and comfortable.
