Gardener’s Cottage sits peacefully in the heart of the historic Bargaly Estate. As its name portrays, Gardener’s Cottage was once the home of the head gardener to this estate, owned by the famous horticulturist Andrew Heron and dates back to 1675. Newton Stewart is within a 5-mile drive and here is the gateway to the Galloway Hills which are every bit as challenging as some of their more loftier neighbours in the north.
