To the rear of the property are the village playing fields as well as a children’s playground. Tetford is in the heart of the Lincolnshire Wolds classed as an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. Visit the seaside, spend a day in the Roman town of Horncastle, well known for its curio and antique shops, take a trip to the Georgian market town of Louth which still boasts three markets a week, or drive to Lincoln with its cathedral which was used in the filming of The Da Vinci Code as well as explore the castle and the Magna Carta Visitor Centre, also the Bomber Memorial Centre. The Battle of Britain Memorial Flight is based at Coningsby, just 15 miles away, which has a visitor centre. For the more energetic, there are good walks and cycle routes from the door.
