I have stayed in a lot of cottages and have never been unhappy. I'm not saying anything is wrong with the cottage, its just a few things which, me personally, think could be improved. They had a dishwasher, which would have been great if they had more crockery, or more than 2x dishwasher tablets. Even the washing up liquid had the smallest amount left in the bottle. It lacks baking trays and the oven was dirty, the kitchen utensils were so bendy, they were no good. I even had to go out and buy toilet roll as not many were left in the cottage. The cottage was lovely, although small but very warm which helped this time of year, and the Owner was very nice and helpful. Purely things which I had not had problems with in the many cottages I have stayed in.

This is a compact cottage in very peaceful surroundings. It it’s within easy reach of the south coast and Dartmoor plus other towns. Wildlife abounds and you have to dodge the young pheasants and hare on the way back in the evenings. The cottage is easy to stay in and generates very little work which is ideal. The only drawback is the is no easy short walk to pub or shop. There good local eateries and in all it makes for a pleasant restful break.
