Description

A perfect highland location for family and friends to explore the natural beauties of the area, including Ben Lawers, Perthshire’s highest mountain.

Ground Floor:
All on the ground floor.
Living room: With 43" Freeview TV, DVD player, bluetooth speakers, wooden floor, patio doors leading to decking.
Dining room: With wooden floor.
Kitchen: With electric oven, gas hob, microwave, fridge/freezer, dishwasher, washer/dryer and slate floor.
Bedroom 1: With kingsize bed and en-suite with bath, shower cubicle and toilet.

Decking with garden furniture. 35 acre grounds with woodland and pasture land (shared). Private parking for 3 cars. No smoking. Please note: The property has a natural water supply from a bore hole. There is an unfenced pond and sloping banks in the grounds, 100 yards away.

In a splendid location in highland Perthshire, Frith View overlooks the lochan and deer park. This is the perfect location for friends and family to spend time together and explore this area of natural beauty. It is a spacious and bright contemporary detached lodge furnished to an excellent standard. The living areas have floor to ceiling windows so you can take advantage of the ever changing views. Patio doors lead to the private decked area and is ideal for watching the stars at night. The country park, which comprises of several holiday lodges and is accessed via a rough track, covers 35 acres with a lochan that is a haven for wildlife all year round. A great location for exploring the great outdoors there are activities to suit all. For the energetic, there are seven munros to climb within 10 miles, including Ben Lawers, Perthshire’s highest mountain. Schiehallion, Dun Beag and Dun Coillich can be seen from Frith View. It is also ideal countryside for cycling and mountain biking in the forests.

For a day out, and only 5 miles along the road at the end of Loch Tay, is the pretty conservation village of Kenmore where guests can enjoy riverside walks, participate in water sports, take a boat trip on the loch or discover several excellent places to eat. The Croft na Caber Centre, which is a reconstruction of an Iron Age stilt dwelling built over the water is one of the most renowned watersports centres in Scotland. The village hosts regular events, each January there is a ceremony to mark the opening of the salmon fishing season, as the Tay is one of the finest angling rivers, and there is a firework display at New Year. Aberfeldy is only a 20 minutes drive with local interesting independent shops, a supermarket, galleries, eating places, a community run cinema and an award-winning book shop. The famous Dewar’s Whisky Distillery offers tour and sampling and there are riverside walks and white water rafting for the more adventurous. A Highland safari takes you up into the mountains to see local wildlife including deer, peregrine falcons, ospreys and golden eagles. This area has many historic buildings, castles and gardens which you can visit to discover the rich history of the area. Shop 9 miles, pub and restaurant 8 miles.
