I had a good week here with dry weather suitable for walking every day, only using the car twice for really short distances to give me a lift towards certain footpaths. I became accustomed to the cottage, finding it overall a comfortable base, though the initial conservatory/hall drains a lot of the warmth unless there is a good supply of sunny weather, thankfully a thick door-curtain was there to pull across from the dining room. It wasn't the original intention to have a three-bedroom cottage to myself, but unfortunately that's how things transpired. Had the four of us been there, we would have found the limitations of the under-the-counter fridge quite inconvenient, being only just sufficient for myself. Shops are a way off, eating places likewise, so really a family-sized fridge-freezer is definitely required, far more useful than a full-sized dishwasher. That really is my only negative point as the location is pleasantly rural and timeless.

There was a strong smell of dampness in the cottage and was very unpleasant.

This is a beautiful place in a quiet area with only a few houses around and at the back rolling hills and pasture. Plenty of space in this cottage with old world charm with all the comforts needed. You can sit outside on a nice day and just breathe. A bit of a trek to the shops but that's what w wanted and expected in a rural setting. The owners kindly left eggs, elderflower presse, chocs and home-made welsh cakes - Bliss. We'd love to go back again.
